I keep forgetting to post this and it of course occurs to me to do so at 3 am but that’s ok (0;  I don’t ever post about things like this but this is for sure an exception to my rule.  Dr. Rapisarda and his family are sweet clients of mine and I adore them. The best part is that he is an awesome dentist and I am not just saying this.  I have had 3 dentists over the last 7 years and never loved them. Poor Zach attack had a horrible experience for his first dental visit and he has been to I believe six now. So I know when I see a good dentist.  Being clients of mine, I of course wanted to support his business. So Ben and I decided we should try them out.  From the front office staff, hygenists and to Dr. Rapisarda this is seriously the best dental experiece I have have ever had.  Ben had an appointment this week and called me and said…and I quote,”It is actually a pleasure to go there!” Yeah mr. crabby who likes nothing loved it there.  If you are in the market for a new dentist you must try them out. Tell him I sent you. You will love them all I promise! and I don’t get anything for doing this, I just love them so much I had to mention it.  If you try them out let me know what you think.  Here is the Facebook page and here is the website.

It seemed the weather gods hated me for a while as it rained everytime we were supposed to do it (hello where are you now rain…it is 107 today and I am dying!!!!) but eventually we go to do it and we were both so happy to.  Denaya is a local singer whose voice is as beautiful as she is.  See for yourself……

So we had this idea brewing for over a month….but things changed and we scrambled like mad the last 24 hours before Shannon and I boarded our plane to sunny Los Angeles, California.  Our email was going off like crazy and our phones were ringing off the hook (thank god for iphones). We got off the plane, dropped off our suitcases and started driving down the Pacific Coast Highway to find the perfect location.  A few hours later we were blowing up life preservers and running our of air (oh how i wish we had a picture of us in the car…it was quite hilarious) and then shooting 3 adorable little kids.  I have way too many to share so there will be a part 2 to this post featuring cute mr. curly in the next day or so.  Thanks everyone who helped us. My gosh it was a blast. 

So I had to go to Fred Meyers today to buy some more fill for my bean bag (for newborn photos) and they had already replaced the halloween stuff with Christmas stuff. Most people get annoyed by this but I love it. Christmas is my favorite and I am just grinning thinking about it. Anyways, it reminded me that I haven’t posted any samples yet of Christmas cards. I am working with a fab designer for this years cards and thought I better show off a few samples since everyone is ordering them now. Any of the cards can be made into flat, bifold or trifold and come with envelopes. If you had a session with me this year or have one coming up get ahold of me now so I can get working on them for you. I have more samples to show but this will at least tie you over for now. (0: OH and if you are a photographer reading this, shoot me an email and I will hook you up with the designer so you can get your hands on them too. enjoy
