When Shannon asked a few months ago if I wanted to shoot mr E with her I happily agreed.  She is a styling queen and I am so thankful to get to crash in on this shoot with her. I titled this a rare one because I really dont have many teenage boys that I photograph. hmmmmm.  So hello where you guys at?  Since it’s senior picture time I figured it was about time to blog these.

I took this little guy out to the Columbia River before I left for California.  It was gorgous weather but then of course as our weather goes it changes suddenly. So this day was windy and chilly but mom tuckered it out for me and I soooooo appreciated it.  He did not want to sleep and who can blame him….it was coooold.  Is he not adorable or what?

Our last day in Cali I convinced Shannon she needed to try surfing for the first time. We trecked down to Manhattan Beach. About half way through I had just biffed it and glanced up at the beach and noticed the yumminess walking along the beach and screamed at Shannon, “Look it’s Baywatchhhhhhhhhh”!!! (yep tan and cute and holding the red float thing and all)…… as I turned to see her laughing at me and our our surf instructor as well a gigantic wave whopped me upside the head.  They were dying laughing. I think I inhaled about a gallon of salt water up my nose laughing as I was drowning. It was pretty stinkin funny.  So anyways back to the cutest lifeguard…I mean come on I think he would turn way more heads that the Baywatch dude doncha think?  At the end of the surf shoot I snagged mr curly curly for 5 minutes and grabbed these.

Sabrina: So super cute!

Sunny: I agree with Jenny, you're astonishingly out of control!!!

brienne: Definitely BayWatch material. ;)

So we had this idea brewing for over a month….but things changed and we scrambled like mad the last 24 hours before Shannon and I boarded our plane to sunny Los Angeles, California.  Our email was going off like crazy and our phones were ringing off the hook (thank god for iphones). We got off the plane, dropped off our suitcases and started driving down the Pacific Coast Highway to find the perfect location.  A few hours later we were blowing up life preservers and running our of air (oh how i wish we had a picture of us in the car…it was quite hilarious) and then shooting 3 adorable little kids.  I have way too many to share so there will be a part 2 to this post featuring cute mr. curly in the next day or so.  Thanks everyone who helped us. My gosh it was a blast.
