Lots of important things to say right now.

First, I got the new computer and have been up till crazy times in the early am every night getting caught up so want to thank all of you for your patience. You guys are the greatest!

Next, I technically only have one date left through the end of the year for a session and am going to really try to stick to that. Please don’t make me have to turn you away. Get ahold of me soon if want pictures before the end of the year.

Next (yes more), I will be out of town this weekend through wednesday the 4th doing shoots in Idaho and visiting my brand new baby niece! Emails might be delayed so if you have an immediate need, please call me.

and more……ORDERING DEADLINE for ALL prints and christmas cards is NOVEMBER 15th. NO exceptions. I wish to spend the holidays with my family and not running around like a chicken with my head cut off like last year.  (0;  xoxo to all of you for understanding.

almost done…I found out today that some of the emails I sent from my phone over the last few days were not sent.  I need to go through them but if you didnt get a response from me in the last few days please shoot me another msg.

Because this is my best friend she has to wait to see all of her pictures til I am caught up after this computer fiasco. So I have to post a few on here for her to see. Shot these while in Central Oregon (Redmond to be exact) of my best friend Cori and her sweet and handsome boyfriend Brandon. Oh and I of course can’t forget to mention their babies….fur babies that is.  I love their dogs and their fat furry kitties. Love me some fat cats like you can’t even imagine. I am not an animal photographer or claim to be good at taking animal photos but have been having more and more clients bring their dogs along to sessions lately.  It has actually been really fun with the dogs.  Now getting a cat to look at you though, that is next to impossible. I think we managed ok though.

Guess what? Apple replaced my computer and I got it last night. I am so excited to be able to get back to editing even though the list is beyond long and makes me go dizzy thinking about it. So much to do before I fly out to Idaho in a week for shoots and to see my brand new baby niece.  Anyways I am going to try and blog a few photos here and there so be patient with me as I recover from the computer dilemma.  First up is these amazing and adorable family.  I have been shooting them since the little one was a bump in mommas belly. I see them every few months and they have gotten to be great friends of ours and amazing clients.  There sometimes is a fine line between clients and friends and am happy to say that these ones are great friends. I love them all dearly and am excited to see the new little one (yep mommas got another one on the way….yipeeeeeee!!!!!) come february.

Just a quick little post with good news! I have been battling a broken screen on my iMac for almost two months now. 5 trips to apple (actually more I think) and three screens later it still was broken. Two weeks ago they finally said they would replace it. I got a phone call yesterday that it was in and they replaced it with a brand new vs that just came out this week and they suped it up. I’m giddy to get it today but not looking forward to the backlog of work because of it. Things will return to normal soon yipee!!!

I had a photography fundraiser for a client whose son has SMA.  We raised $1600!!!!!!!!!!!! You can read Jessica’s blog here and here is the link to donate (even $5 helps and would mean so much to this sweet family).  We had a great turn out and did quite a few 20 min mini sessions, and they have been so patient waiting to see these. Up first is this gorgeous family.

Still no computer but I was able to blog even though I can’t edit.  New computer will be here next week though thank goodness. Yay for apple’s fantastic warranty.  Anyways, on to another cutie I got to photograph recently.  She has plans to marry my oldest and I believe actually extorted a propasal out of him at one point. She’s a smart little one (0;

I get these girls every fall for pictures.  They are close family friends so they are extra special to me. Mom and Dad let me do whatever I want and buy whatever I want for clothes. For their birthday this summer I got them both two outfits a piece for our shoot.  Silly parents didn’t bring them the day of the shoot though so we did a quick little shopping run and came out pretty well for some last minute choices.  Hope you love these as much as I do.

I haven’t seen these kiddos in quite some time, so to say I was shocked at how gorgeous and grown up they were would be an understatement.  I think I actually said wow outloud. Mr. Will’s eyelashes, big eyes and freckles…hello handsome. He is also sweeter than sweet and I just loved him.  Then of course big sister. Wow.  I know my camera wants to see her again soon.  She seriously looks like she walked out of Abercrombie kids ad. Right? yup yup.  Dad at the last minute couldn’t come so our family session turned into just the kids but we had mom jump in for a couple.  She is equally gorgeous as you can see.  The kids have good genes. (0; They came down from Castle Rock for me and adore them for driving here just for me!

Tis the season for family pictures and man I have been swamped with them.  I will never get caught up enough to blog them all but am going to make an effort to post as much as I can as soon as I get my computer back.  I have been battling for about 4 weeks now trying to get my computer screen fixed and now after the third screen apple finally realized that it still isn’t fixing the problem. So next week I will have a brand new computer. Yay for apple but boo for me since I have been basically unable to do much work for the last few weeks. I think I have caught up on emails but if you don’t have a response please sent me another one! I can get into emails now and will be able to resume full editing next week. yay!

First let me say yes I am soooo behind on blogged. Little did you all know I have a ton of weddings to still post and way more portrait sessions than I can count.  I have my last wedding of the year this weekend so will be out of the office from Friday until Monday.  I will return phone calls and emails on monday!  Then after hopefully I will get a spare second to blog some more.

Now without further ado yet another gorgeous family.  I shot these three before I even had a business so they hold a special place for me.  They drove down from Longview for me on a rainy day but we got a lovely break in the weather for some shots. Narrowing down my favorites was hard. I could easily do another post (0;…..They also have another little one on the way and am giddy giddy to shoot his/her newborn photos.  Plus it doesn’t hurt they are drop dead gorgeous right? Yeah, not at all.
